Single Hung Windows
Single Hung windows have one operating sash on the bottom that moves up and down.
Double Hung Windows
Both sashes are operational and can be opened from the bottom or top. The EZ Tilt option allows both sashes to tilt inward from the top, for easy cleaning.

Sliding windows have one operating sash which allows it to slide from side-to-side.
Casement / Awning Windows
The hinge is located along one side of a casement window and at the top of an awning window. These swing out to open and are often placed above or below other windows for ventilation.
